It didn't take very long for me to realize that cancer was going to be a solitary experience.  Part of the process was to learn how navigate this sense of isolation, a feeling all too familiar for anyone with cancer. And yet, it is truly amazing how our minds will show us the stars to get us through. For me, mine went slightly delusional, but it worked. Here's an excerpt from my book, So That Happened, on how I charted the waves of isolation.
